Glo’s Gumbo has been around since the mid 1940’s as a family recipe. Grandpa Goudeau and his wife Elsie, natives of Louisiana, opened their home to family and friends.
Their Creole, French cooking inspired many and the siblings learned to cherish their recipes, the tastes and spices which manifested into following their traditions in cooking. His daughter Gloria, continued the tradition by making Gumbo for her family and friends. Quickly she noticed that the same response was carrying on to the next generation as people would ask to take home some of the Gumbo when leaving her home.
